About Us
We are Helen Chamberlin and daughter Melissa Boardman and are located in Purdy, near Gig Harbor, Washington. We have lived in the area and on farms most of our lives.
Helen has been around horses since she was young. She did Junior Rodeos growing up and now likes to do trail rides and team penning with the big horses, and driving the miniature horses.
Originally we bought one to have as a pet. After attending a miniature horse show, we thought it would be fun to drive them in a cart, so we took our horse to training and while she was there we bought a second one. Soon we were breeding our horses and we bought a couple more! Currently we have six miniature horses.
We have been showing in the miniature horse shows for five years now. We use them with carts and also have saddles to give pony rides to small children.
We get the most enjoyment sharing the mini’s with people and seeing the children’s faces light up when they see how fast and loving they are.
